Fit
The ‘N’ in its name stands for ‘new’ because it’s an updated version of the previously discontinued BDD-710, which has been part of our first collection back in 2013. Originally developed as a vintage cut, we took the 710 base and tweaked it towards a modern update of this cut. BDD-710N is considered relaxed, has a long back rise, and the legs slightly taper to an easy hem opening. It comes close to the silhouette of the European made B-04 RELAXED.

Fabric
Low tension 12 oz. RHT can be considered a lighter version of our 14 oz. special #1 fabric. It has a similar loose weave construction with irregular yarns, and the same indigo cast has been used for the warp yarns. Besides the obvious weight difference, another main difference can be found in the garment treatment used for all styles made with this fabric; they have received the one-wash treatment, which means the garments have pre-washed in the factory. This reduces the break-in time tremendously, providing a comfortable fit from the very first wear day. When water penetrates cotton fibres, they tend to shrink and stabilize, and become more compact. This, combined with the loss of sizing (starch, that makes the fabric stiff on raw denim), creates a beautiful deep blue colour with hints of lighter tones, that will brighten up further by wear and wash. The fabric is woven by Collect and the garments have been washed under the supervision of sister company Japan Blue Jeans.

版型

其名稱中的「N」代表「新」，因為這是之前停產的 BDD-710 的升級版本，該款式曾在我們的首個系列中於2013年推出。最初是以復古款式設計，我們基於710版型進行了微調，使之更適應現代風格。BDD-710N 被視為寬鬆版型，後褲檔改良較長，腿部稍微放開，穿著上更輕鬆的下擺褲腳，總體提供寬鬆微錐形的修飾感。

面料

低張力的12盎司右斜紋赤耳布（RHT）可以視為我們14盎司旗艦#1一號面料的輕量版本。它採用了類似的鬆散織造結構，使用不規則紗線，並使用相同類型的經紗靛藍色調，色落偏藍色。除了明顯的厚度差異之外，旗艦一號布料為『預縮布』，而這款使用『未預縮』面料製作的款式還有另一個主要差異，就是它們接受了一次水洗處理，這意味著衣物在工廠中預洗過。這大大減少了磨合時間，讓衣物在第一次穿著時就能提供舒適的合身度。當水滲透到棉纖維中時，它們往往會收縮和穩定，變得更加緊密。這個特性，再加上洗掉的漿料劑（使原始牛仔布變硬的澱粉），創造出美麗的深藍色調，通過穿著和洗滌進一步變亮藍色。面料由Collect織造，在Japan Blue的姐妹公司監督下進行水洗處理。
