The Son of the Soil jeans from Fullcount capture the essence of early denim, crafted with a wide leg, high rise, and rich heritage-inspired details. Made from 13.7-ounce raw denim, these jeans utilize hand-picked Zimbabwean cotton, known for its durability and comfort. The fabric is dyed in a deep indigo and features a natural selvedge line along the outer seam, giving it an authentic, timeless appeal.


In homage to traditional workwear, Fullcount has added period-correct buttons throughout, including brace buttons to easily attach suspenders. The jeans also come with a custom-made cinch-back buckle, positioned above the brand’s signature leather patch—a thoughtful nod to classic design.


Originally crafted in the 19th century for laborers like farmers and coal miners, jeans were built for utility and resilience. In keeping with this spirit, Son of the Soil jeans offer an extra-thick silhouette, a deep back rise for added comfort while seated, and a tuck on the back yoke for structure. Instead of belt loops, the jeans feature suspender button placements and an adjustable cinch back, letting wearers customize the fit as needed.


Expertly stitched with fine cotton thread, these jeans showcase selvedge details not only on the side seams but also on the waistband, underscoring their premium quality. In addition, there may be individual differences of a few centimeters even in the same product and size.
