Inis Meain have worked with Peruvian farmers for many years. Alpaca are sheared only once per season, making their wool a much-valued yarn. This Moss Rib unites two age-old traditions: an authentic stitch popular in Inis Meain Island workwear for generations, and the authentic processes used by farmers living near the Andes. Baby alpaca is washed to create a loose knit which in turn creates a soft-touch yarn with a generous drape. Crafted from Baby Alpaca Wool made to the highest environmental standards using only organic and premium quality dyes.

Care & Wash
This garment is made using some of nature's most luxurious natural fibres, Cashmere and Extra Fine Merino Wool. This yarn has a characteristic crimp making it susceptible to pilling over time.
To protect against pilling do not wear underneath other woolen layers or velcros and do not over-wash. Hand wash in water no more than 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Lay on a flat surface to dry.
Dry wash is recommende.
