The craft of dry stone walling, a traditional island activity passed from one generation to the next, is the inspiration for Inis Meain stylish goes-with-everything crew neck from Inis Meain new Claíochaí, or stonewall, range. Each wall is built by hand using stones of random shapes and sizes. Inis Meain intricate design uses a variety of stitches to emulate the patterns created, such as plated moss stitch, plated moss rib stitch, plated caterpillar stitch, plated brick stitch, and embossed leaf stitch. Inis Meain blend combines the warmth of wool with cashmere for softness.
Now crafted with super-premium Cashmere and Merino yarn from Italian heritage producer, Filati Biagioli Modesto, made to the highest European environmental standards using only organic dyes.
30% Cashmere 70% Merino Wool
Care & Wash
This garment is made using some of nature's most luxurious natural fibres, Cashmere and Extra Fine Merino Wool. This yarn has a characteristic crimp making it susceptible to pilling over time. To protect against pilling do not wear underneath other woolen layers or velcros and do not over-wash.
Hand wash in water no more than 30 degrees using a mild detergent. Lay on a flat surface to dry.
Dry wash is recommended.
