The new 0605SP from Momotaro is made using the brand's original 15.7oz Vintage Label fabric - sanforized for immediate wear. The fabric is stiff and rigid and widely praised for its fading color and character. The denim is made entirely from Zimbabwe cotton, features a smooth yet hairy surface, and is finished with Momotaro's iconic pink selvedge and inseam, both of which serve as an homage to the peach in the original Momotaro folktale.
The new "Natural Tapered" fit is a straight silouette cut. It's high rise and has roomy top block with a slight taper from the knee down.
- "Going to Battle" stripes are a symbol of Japanese tradition representing honor and strength. The warrior stripes also represent the flag carried by "Momotaro" in the original folklore story.
