The 022 SCKB Selvedge Chino, designed in a five-pocket jeans style, was introduced about 20 years ago when the ONI brand was still in its early stages. Despite being created two decades ago, the popularity of this style has continued to grow as trends evolve, with classic straight cuts becoming increasingly common in recent years. The chino fabric features a 16x10 yarn count combination on standard weave that resembles West Point uniform fabric in its loomstate. However, it is woven using a slow technique on an old shuttle loom, creating a subtle uneven texture similar to low-tension woven denim, while still maintaining its twill structure. These pants are a great alternative when you're looking to style differently from indigo-dyed jeans. The fabric is also durable, especially considering its light weight, making it versatile for both winter wear or as casual attire on warmer days.
