The KUON (久远) sweater is a truly timeless piece with dropped shoulders, chunky blue side-seams, contrasting ribs, our signature embroidery on the shoulder and a slightly longer body for a modern silhouette. We are proud to present it in our newest addition , the ZUIEN loopwheel fabric.
Fabric.
It's incredibly soft yet offers a lot of different shades. Loopwheeled on old machinery in Japan in one of the last factories still able to do so, this tsuriami fabric is spun with almost no tension which makes it very comfortable to wear but also makes it sturdy If you look closer you will find so many variations of grey, you will understand why we chose the name ZUIEN which translates into ""a scene of clouds and fog hanging over the mountains like smoke"".
